Robotics
Students learn the basics of computer programming and apply it to design robots and use motors, sensors, and attachments to make their robot perform specific tasks. The programme is specifically designed to develop skills and knowledge in bundles designing, building, problem-solving, computer programming, critical thinking, and collaboration.
Target group: Grade 5-9
- Grade 5 to 6- Robo Juniors
- Grade 7 to 9- Robo Senior
Game of Codes
As every professional career of the future will require proficiency in coding, we have made it a core part of our education. IHGS is building generation of coders, thus giving out world confident and agile leaders, who think differently, evolve their capabilities in every situation and act fast. One main skill we focus on is “Problem- Solving.” Our coders would not give up when an obstacle is on the way. They see it as a problem to correct, not a stop sign.
Target group: Grade 5 – 9
F1 in Schools Technology Challenge
We challenge the students to design, build and race mini compressed F1 cars. Students acquire knowledge and hone their skills in aerodynamics, design, manufacture, branding, physics, graphics, sponsorship, marketing, leadership, teamwork, media skills and financial strategy and then apply them in imaginative, practical, and competitive way.
Target group:
- Formula Ethara- Grade 5&6
- F1 in Schools Rookie/Professional class – Grade 7,8,9 & 11
4×4 in Schools Technology Challenge
4X4 in Schools Technology Challenge is a multi-disciplinary challenge that involves 4 to 6 team members working together to design, build and code a radio controlled 4-wheel-drive (4×4) vehicle, to set specifications, that can successfully negotiate a specially designed test track that emulates real life and what a full scale 4×4 vehicle can do. The challenge has a strong emphasis on electronics, coding and programming, with students challenged to innovate, using sensors and vehicle control systems on an Arduino platform along with mobile app development.
Target group: Grade 9 & 11
